In May, doctors told one young man, Dave, who had been in a motorcycle accident, that he had broken his neck and his back.  They told him that his injuries were very similar to those sustained by actor Christopher Reeves and that he would possibly have to wear a Halo brace and a back brace and was scheduled for surgery that Saturday.  A prayer team from the Healing Rooms was dispatched to the hospital and that evening both he and his girlfriend received Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior and she received the infilling of the Holy Spirit and spoke in other tongues.  The team prayed for Dave’s healing and the next day as doctors read the latest MRI report they commented that they saw that something had happed to his back and that they no longer saw a need for surgery.  On Saturday, instead of having surgery, Dave was released from the hospital.  His injuries did not require a halo brace, though he does wear a neck brace and occasionally wears brace for his back.  His recovery is already 60-70% complete and his doctor says he will be able to return to work in 3-4 weeks!

FANTASTIC UPDATE! June 21, 2004

Dave (Shorty) went to the doctor and he said the X-rays showed he had no problem with his bones at all. He also said he could go back to work, which really is a surprise, because they told him in May 3 weeks ago he wouldn't even get out of the hospital for a least 3 months. Praise God. He is a heavy equipment mechanic and does hard work lifting etc.

The doctor said he see's no reason why he can't resume his job. WOW.
